(1) Regardless of anything else, I hope Sims is OK. I will always hope our players are not hurt or injured. Top priority.

(2) However, since Yates is playing, I hope the reason is that Sims is not OK. I think it would be a terrible idea to replace him due to injury in the last game without at least giving him one full half of football at the start of this year to see what he can do.

Maybe CGC figured out he makes bad choices? He chose Sims to start, realized he’s wrong most of the time, so switched to Yates. If I was him I’d start trying anything besides what he’s been doing.
