So Yates is starting

Not to mention, Yates was a 4 star guy out of high school just like Sims...and he was actually rated higher (#6 vs. #11 in his Dual Threat QB group). Jordan Yates is not some local two star scrub. He belongs and absolutely should be able to hang with Sims.

I live in Milton and followed him closely during his senior year.
He's very talented and has gained strength over the last two years which has transformed an "undersized" HS star into a legitimate dual-threat college starter. He has worked hard and is a great team player, as well as a great kid according to friends who know him.
Although he's probably not going to reach the elite talent level of Mahomes and Wilson, he has the same grit and "it", and I love watching him play.

I have no issue if Yates becomes the next Russell Wilson. Obviously, that comparison is there. Wilson is about 6' tall, 210. Yates about 6' tall 200. Both have very high football IQ's. Know plays. Make things happen with their legs. Neither has mind blowing speed, but are elusive enough. Yates seems to do a hell of a job keeping his head up and scanning the field when #1 WR isn't open.
