Not to suggest that you are not doing something right but KBs should not be tearing up your hands. Not sure what routine you are doing but you should be holding the KB loosely - especially with exercises where the KB twists in your grip like snatches.
Some folks use chalk but that's not a good idea - its just covering improper form.
Chalk is used to dry your hands... what does that have to do with form?
