I agree with most of what LamdaChi is saying, except for the part about non-greeks hating the system. I enjoyed it, but being enrolled during the heart of the Chan Gailey era, camping out wasn't nearly as much of a problem. It's ridiculous that the school is shelling out $150,000 for a system that will a pain in the ass. The basketball system sure was when it started. It started around the time I was getting ready to get out, and it was the reason I gave up on the basketball games. I camped out a few times, nearly caught pneumonia doing it in 2003 and my only regret is that we didn't win.
The only way this is a good idea is if the season tickets require you to show up for every game. You miss a game, you lose your seat. If not, you're going to get large sections of the North Endzone empty when we play some of our games.
Not sure if season tickets will be a problem like that. At the very least if I'm going to pay money for something that otherwise would be free you'd be interested enough to go to the games you paid for. Then again I might be underestimating what people will go through to get a seat for the Georgia game.
