It's obvious. The ACC Mafia refs have made some incredibly important calls against Tech because they know we are leaving. We do get the calls late when it's clearly over however.

Then, we’ve been planning our Big 10 exit strategy since 1979, if this is our working theory. It's obvious. The ACC Mafia refs have made some incredibly important calls against Tech because they know we are leaving. We do get the calls late when it's clearly over however.
There were three bad calls I noticed early in the game. A roughing call on Douse, an obvious missed hold on Charlie Thomas. I can't remember the 3rd
Yeah I think that was it!An extremely clear PI on a pretty nice deep ball.
The fact that it was "clearly over" when we were never down less than a TD shows we can't blame the refs for this one. They did make some truly atrocious calls though.
Maybe the missed flagrant PI right in front of the ref on a long pass. There were three bad calls I noticed early in the game. A roughing call on Douse, an obvious missed hold on Charlie Thomas. I can't remember the 3rd
The game was lost in the first half when we were the better team. The game was taken out of our hands three key plays in the first half and the game was over (but I also blame coaching for calling the 3rd and 1 pass play in the red zone).
No. Game was lost when they scored 0 offensive touchdowns against the worst team in ACC in 4 quarters. The game was lost in the first half when we were the better team. Same crew of inept zebras. Were any of the refs the same from the Duke game? I wondered if they were revenge calls
The game-plan did not include Sims running the ball because of his injury. With a healthy Sims running the ball which opens up the passing game we win going away.Spot on. As bad as Gibson was, we lost this game in the first half with Sims under center.
We ended up losing by 7 and should have scored at least that many more in the first half.
Sims was not on his game, either. Maybe it was the injury, but either way he was not the same QB from the last two games.
