There is a big difference between midwesterners and yankees.

Indeed. My father was a “Midwesterner” and “hated” Yankees.

Would nevertheless have been a horrible fit. We are a Southern school no matter how many who did not grow up here , and who received their great education here, and try to ridicule our fellow Georgians / Southerners make posts about such.

The solution to our athletic problems is not to run away but embrace the challenge and fight.

Those that say we can not are a waste of GTs efforts to give them an education.

It is fair to say the ACC has upgraded coaches. I don't think it has everything to do with the option.

I hear Notre Dame's thinking about joining the conference. South Carolina back to ACC where they belong. Arkansas and A&M back to the Big12 mess where they belong and Tech back to the SEC. It's the only thing that's makes any sense. But we're not going to do that because the world has lost it's mind. We have West Virginia in the B12. The people in charge of this stuff are idiots.

Eventually, the money wall gets hit and major CFB will contract to NFL size. The factories will play for the big championship and we, most likely, will be playing for a lower championship with schools like us that don't draw $100 million a year and 90k+fans to games.
