I got a room for Friday night in Boulder when they announced the date. I'm debating on whether to stay there Saturday and Sunday too or move downtown. We're planning to go to a Rockies game or 2 later in the weekend.Boulder doesn’t appear to be all that big. It looks like the equivalent of trying to get a hotel room in Athens on a game weekend. The few hotels actually in Boulder are kinda pricey. Denver is 45 minutes or so away which furthers the Athens comparison.
I would move downtown for sure. There's more to check out there and it would be a PITA to drive back and forth.I got a room for Friday night in Boulder when they announced the date. Did you buy from Colorado?Game. Stupid order platform kept telling me I couldn't have the seats I picked because after my two, there would only be one seat left in the row. Then, as I was looking for two others, someone grabbed the two I had picked. I'm in 119 about halfway up. Good seats I think. Oh, and no service fee so bite me, ticketmaster.
Yes.Did you buy from Colorado?
Raisins was already fully booked? We will also be visiting Casita Bonita. Probably Saturday lunch.
Curious to hear how it is now that the South Park guys have invested in it. We went a few years ago (pre-Covid), and the food was sub-Taco Bell and the whole place was pretty threadbare. I’m glad we went for the LOLs, but it wasn’t a great experience. We will also be visiting Casita Bonita. Probably Saturday lunch.
Week 1 – vs. Georgia Tech
For the second season in a row, the Buffs have a very challenging season opener in prime time at Folsom Field. Georgia Tech was one of the ascending teams in college football last season with Brent Key at the helm, and Haynes King will be back under center as the starting quarterback.
The Yellow Jackets love to run the football, which makes them an interesting matchup against a Colorado team that struggled to stop the run at times over the lat few seasons. With so many transfers coming in for the Buffs in the front seven once again, Georgia Tech's physicality and continuity helps it pull out a tight victory to open the year.
Pick: Georgia Tech 27, Colorado 24 (0-1)
Not sure most bandwagon Buffs fans will even know about 1990.Secured my hat for the Colorado game. Even though it's not official Tech merchandise, it proclaims undefeated and is still of the era. Hoping to see lots of 1990 gear for the game. Would be funny if my wife joined for the game and wore her Mizzou stuff (that's where she went).

That’s pretty awesome. You should also make a shirt that says “Colorado: Home of the 5th Down”Secured my hat for the Colorado game. We should coordinate like a “spontaneous” protest and have signs professionally made. Hand out to everyone wearing a GT as they enter the stadium.I kinda like the idea of yelling "And it's 5th down" during the game if they fail to convert a 4th down.
Probably not. Deion fans. Not sure most bandwagon Buffs fans will even know about 1990.
