The End of Saban

I hope I'm wrong, but Bama being Bama, they don't lose 2 weeks in a row. Lane Kiffin, poor guy!
 
He’s tied himself to pedestrian coordinators that are uninspiring and obviously getting outcoached. If he chooses, he will clean house, bring in 2 new guys, and continue to bring in top 3 recruiting classes. His demise is premature, but he could choose to hang up the whistle.

It is true his receivers are not great and the D line is no where near what it used to be. But, there’s still plenty of talent.

He needs one because he needs a big time receiver like someone already said, and he needs a dominant running back. Gibbs is more of an all purpose back; but he isn't the guy you want when inside the 5 and trying to drive the ball or do any sort of power run game. If he can't get those pieces because Kirby and others are out recruiting him, then Bama/Saban will continue to be good but not championship level good.

The defense certainly isn't up to the Saban standard. When Saban first became dominant it was because of an overwhelming defense and a competitive but not high scoring offense. Now everybody is scoring on the defense it seems.

People get shot in Alabama when this stuff happens. Bama loses. Someone points it out they lost. That person gets shot.

I don't even know if you can prosecute it as a crime in Alabama

I will find out this week while I am pointing out to the Bama fans they have no realistic path to the SEC Championship or the playoffs. They have to hope LSU loses to Arkansas or A&M.

Much like Tom Brady, eventually Saban really will get passed by one of these times and stop being dominant.

But also much like Tom Brady, it's a fool's errand trying to predict when it will happen, as evidenced by all the previous "Nick Saban is done" predictions that turned out poorly.
 
Of course watching that dumbo-eared Feinbaum sweat will be worth it. He might actually start poisoning trees himself. I think he once mentioned Clown as a possible replacement for Saban too. Maybe he can re-up on that
