I remember the candy color astroturf colors of the early 80s and I remember the grass of 1999 (that I still have a small bottle full of).

I don’t get the objection to the current turf color. Do you guys want to bring back Leisure Suit Larry lime green??

What exactly do you want -assuming you are able to articulate an RGB requirement which I doubt.

It’s not the color it’s our performance on it. The other team plays on it too but I’m not sure that matters

Obviously there are way more important things, but it's weird to see a P5 head coach wearing a giant untucked sleeveless t shirt with undershirt sleeves (?) poking out. Chip Long looked a million times more put together.

Gef has this weird look that is almost like his own personal spin on Belichick’s hoodies with the sleeves cut off at the elbows. Gef looks like he’s always wearing a nylon raincoat that he turned into a “muscle shirt” by cutting off the sleeves at the shoulder.

I’d like something that looks like live, healthy grass, personally. Maybe a (0, 154, 23) kind of thing (that’s #009a17 if you prefer hex, which I do).

The combination of the dark green grass, the brown filler, the weird uneven texture or sheen, and the perpetually faded paint is just unpleasant to look at. I’m not convinced it plays very well, either, given the number of slips and trips that we see.

We went from having the best lookin field in the south to this garbage. Even if we were playing well the field would still piss me off.

When Miami made their first trip to BDS after they joined the ACC in 2004 (?), an older Miami couple asked me if our field was artificial because it was so nice.

Now, our field looks like an unkempt county park field that gets multiple games played on it on the weekends.

I'm just happy Shaw Industry GT grads convinced us to install it so we can make that sweet revenue from premium events outside of football.
