The GT Logo

my high school uses the UGAy G as a logo except it is green

Gainesville High School (GA) uses the UGA logo with the same colors, if I'm correct. I don't remember seeing a high school using our logo.

a high school in SC uses the buzz logo. the school is actually pretty close to the clemson campus. Youth middle school in loganville uses the buzz logo as well

oh yeah i havent seen a high school use the gt logo mostly because i dont think there are any high schools with the initials of g and t unless it was like george thorogood high or something like that

Lots of high schools have Ugaggers that help come up with their logo's. Sonoraville's logo in Gordon County is essentially a squished "S" that looks like the Green Bay Packers-Grambling-UGAg "G" with the little oval around it and everything. I imagine that it is someone's proudest work.

TL Hannah High School in Anderson, SC is the one that uses the Buzz mascot/logo.

I wish they'll sell so throwback type merchandise with the old T, especially a hat.
Marilyn would agree:

A high school in Greer, SC (near Spartanburg) uses both the Georgia "G" and Buzz. I did a doubletake the first time I saw somebody wearing one of their shirts.

I'm pretty sure Sprayberry in Cobb uses the Buzz logo along with "Up With The White And Gold" as their fight song

Yeah they do, but they modified some of it (of course). I was so enthusiastic about their logo and fight song that I cheered for them against my high school football team.

Not exactly football, but where did our logo come from? Who came first? Did we steal the George Town G and the Tennessee T or did they steal from us?

From whence did you get this idea?

Three different people came up with three different logos for three different schools. Over the course of their lives, they may or may not have communicated with each other in some way, shape, or form.... probably not, though.

This is Greer High School in Greer (like you said) near Greenville, SC. They are the yellow jackets and do indeed use a black and gold Green Bay logo with a Buzz like figure. I've been living in Greenville for a while now and still do a double take every time I see this.

Out this way (Southern Cal), Oxnard High School uses Buzz and a middle school, Grand Terrace, uses our GT logo.

A new high school this year is Grovetown HS near Augusta. They use a GT logo that is very similar. Also, just across the river, North Augusta used Buzz for a while but I'm not sure if they still do.

And by the way, this hideous, disfigured thing is not our goddamn logo. I wanted to throw up when I saw that they had put this piece of garbage on the chairbacks all over BDS last year.

I can't stand the "GT" with buzz over it. I mean, it's cool, but it shouldn't be on ESPN. I agree with yous guys, it makes it tiny and almost diminishes it. I feel like everyone looks at it and says "aww, that's cute".

Nah, their G is different....

However, I'm pretty sure I've heard in the past that the bastards from the East ripped off G'town's old Bulldog logo and transformed it into their own.

I think it's the other way round: Georgetown asked UGAg to let them use it.
