The man doesn't sleep

Lack of effort wasn't the issue with CPJ's recruiting, I don't think. He was on the road plenty.

I love what I have seen from CCG so far and I hope he can bring home some of the 4 stars we have been missing on.

Its ok to pile the accolades onto CGC without referencing anyone else.

CGC's effort in recruiting is impressive even without comparing him to a retired 60-year old.
OP's trolling on purpose, no one winks at a bunch of random dudes on the internet for no reason. At this point you should just meme up a Morpheus image macro for your advice

Is there a more important aspect of running a college football program than recruiting? If real estate is “location, location, location” then CFB is “recruiting, recruiting, recruiting.”

I'd be a lot more encouraged by the threads talking about how hard CCG and how great he is already doing if they weren't followed up by obviously untrue statements about CPJ that make it clear the poster either has a huge bias or doesn't know what he's talking about.

Coach is out on the road recruiting his tail off. PJ recruited.....whenever he felt like it I guess. My point is this cat gets it. We're blessed to have him. Of course , you all knew this already ;)
You are comparing apples to oranges. These two men have completely different personalities. CPJ operates as more of a closer, which seems to be the norm for head coaches. CGC prefers more of a hands on in recruiting, not to mention he doesn't have a staff to help. I like what I have seen from CGC, but it is only potential and we all know potential means you haven't done anything yet. I hope for great success for CGC, but I'm not going to criticize a coach that has won an ACCC and taken us to two OBs.

Lol good call. I’ll remember that next time.

I liked PJ. Still do. I appreciate everything he did for our football program and our young men. I’m just stating the obvious.

Untrue statements? Ok, prove me wrong . I have no bias towards PJ so slow your role.

Then how have we beaten the mutts in 2 of the last 5 years? Our recruits don't come close to matching up.

Where is the evidence that Paul never recruited or only did it when convenient? Paul didn’t recruit to the star system because he knew those kids didn’t fit the profile of kids that would want to play in his system and frankly wouldn’t cut it academically. My hope that GC knows something we don’t but I’m fearful he (and we) will be met with the same reality all Tech coaches have faced for decades. I’m def a Hype Train Boy and I’m all in on GC but I don’t know why we can’t be all in on GC and on the Hype Train and also respect what Paul accomplished at Tech In parallel. He isn’t leaving on bad terms but some of you dingleberries are trashing him like he was worthless for 11 years and ended it by banging kids in the locker room.
