There is no doubt about the talent gap

in this game. I don’t like losing, but if a team has better players they have better players. Clemson, imo, is right on par with Alabama right now when it comes to talent.

The one thing that does piss me off though is that on offensive lineman can’t even get in the way of a pass rusher. At least make the damn DL run over you. Blocking is not that hard to teach, but if you don’t have OL that at least get in the way, then that’s on the player and/or the coach. The effort with the front five is just piss poor. There is no effin excuse for whiffs, ankle biting, and lack of effort. I do t give a hot dam how good they are, just at least get in the damn way and get your ass run over. So so pathetic.

Wonder what happened the opening drive.. we blew them up. guess they adapted quick? And we haven’t

So what can we do about the talent gap?

Machete, imo, the good players will not play in this offense. I’m not sure we would get a ton of 4 or 5 stars, but having a few sprinkled in sure would help. College football has become a recruiting game and we are way off the mark right now.

I agree, like I said earlier it only takes having a few elite players to help bring your program up a level.
And how do we procure such players? This circular argument has been going on for decades. Time to move on and spend our limited resources on something else.

It’s not just a talent issue. We can’t even recruit a subpar level qb or a RB who can make anybody miss. I’m even jealous of U Louisiana Monroe talent.

I truly and completely believe that 100% of our problems is talent. We can't recruit. How long has it been since our last 5 star? Our last 4 star? It shows on the field
