Things found at a Louisville graduation party

A John Denver album. Something about country roads and hill billies.

Have you ever been in their library? 1st floor is a Mitch McConnell / Elaine Chao museum plus a Starbucks. 2nd floor has books. 3rd and 4th floors are completely empty. Just empty shelves. It’s absolutely pathetic.

Their athletic facilities are great, then you walk into campus and it’s absolutely abhorrent. The buildings are from the 1950s and falling apart. It’s dirty. And the only signs on campus are encouraging you to minor in gender studies. The only nice thing on the entire campus is the Speed Museum, which isn’t even really part of campus.

Plus they’re located in a öööö part of Louisville, which is a öööö town to begin with.

Me visiting the Mitch McConnell library.

A master’s thesis on a theoretical number larger than 13.

Library does would be locked. Only open noon to 3, weekend bankers hours if you are lucky. No joke, I needed to go to the Georgia State library once mid day on a weekend and it was completely closed.

They should NEVER remove books from a library, whether they are ever used or not. There are plenty of massive libraries in Europe, and they are packed to the ceiing, with books, often several stories high.

Was looking through the aerodynamics section at the Tech library back in the day. There was an entire section in Russian. But if you know the math, they were actually pretty helpful.

I don't remember for sure now, but I am pretty sure that I spent many hours in that building.
