Wow. Good that the GTAA is getting closer to the goal, but sad that most of the alumni care so little about athletics that GT is trailing Dook and Wake (both much smaller schools).

Funny how people who worship the current coach blame the previous coach for special teams woes and all our issues.

Duke and Wake may be small schools but I think they have more millionaire alumni than most schools including GT.

does Collins know we have 16 rbs? maybe someone should have told him so he could tailor his offensive scheme more to a rushing attack... I blame whoever didn't tell Collins..

What an amazingly clean game Georgie played! Zero penalty yards! The officials were not fooled by all the times our defensive players in the second half jerked themselves to the ground instead of rushing the quarterback.

Meanwhile, our players were obviously dirty, like that blatant pass interference penalty we committed at a key time. Ya know, a lesser official would have seen that ball way behind and over the receiver and out of bounds as uncatchable.

kinda hard to have a rushing attack with a decimated, small'ish OL. But that's Collins' fault for recruiting all those small guys these past few years!!!

those tiny people produce a top 1 or 2 rushing attack every year.

Losing the thread about going to see Dodd really cost us. We were playing much better when it hung around.

and last-place passing stats and bottom-1/2 defenses every year as well as getting curb-stomped by the mutts the past few years.
And when you run it 50-60 times/game, you damn well better be near the top of the rushing stats.

It seems like our OC watches Sunday NFL countdown...writes down all the plays that worked in the highlights and then tries to replicate them on Saturday. We are now a team that will rely on individual talent rather than working as a unit. Tobias Oliver went from being one of our better runners to a bad kick returner. This is all coaching/scheme.

Ask again in 2 years when the previous regime's effects are completely out of the program.

see my disclaimer before you respond with another Citadel bitching.

At least for the last 2 seasons of PJ, we were nothing BUT individual talent. Every other play was TQM or TO running QB Keepers. 100% individual talent plays. WRs completely ignored.

It’s funny you say just wait a few years in a thread where we’re talking about GT is a few years from being dead ööööing last in the entire P65 teams in athletic spending.

Gotta get the munchkins out of Oz before we improve.

Defense improved though, now that we have a staff that gives half a damn about it. First time in a decade that's been the case.

spending more wasn't going to improve our previously-ööööty recruiting. Total fallacy.

It'll be interesting to see how many of our "Fans" hate success under CGC in a few years.
