I'd say good messaging from the coach. I'm not sure how he convinced them to believe they were being slighted... but apparently he did. Maybe while our coach was hugging guys and having Star Wars themed workouts, their coach was actually motivating them to improve themselves.

I've looked online since I heard that soundbite....I have not found any pundit, coach, rival...anyone....that even remotely picked them to finish worse than 10-2.

More proof of the demise of college football. The biggest takeaway from this is that factories playing in competitive games get good ratings. Break the factories out into their own pro league and make college football an amateur sport again.
