This loss is on Paul johnson

It just isn’t this post game presser, but almost everyone. Smarmy feeling. Almost like, “I am only here because I have to be. Don’t care that it is part of my job or that I am representing Ga Tech,”

WTTE - “what were you thinking, or trying to do, when they kept completing those bubble screens?” Answer - “stop the bubble screens.”

Getting old because it is the same for good / bad / indifferent game outcomes.

Did you not listen to his answer? It seems you missed him saying we should've moved the lbs outside to help or rolled the corners up closer.

What was the year when we (again) led Miami much of the game and then they came back and gut punched us? Was that 2012?

Anyway, sucks. Still can't say we were outplayed last night - could have and should have won. Lot of football left to be played. We lost two regular season games in 2014 and went on a tear that saw us beating Clumpson and the Dwags. This team has the same potential.

Move on, cocksuckers. Go Jackets!

Is CPJ the reason we
Smh. Would Shotgun stop Qua from slipping or make Brad complete that pass?
No, Brad finally winning one 50/50 ball would help though. 15 yards is nice, but the catch would have been better and actually given a reason for him to be the #2 WR.

Tough to lose but we were outplayed. The only reason we were close is the gift TD runback. Not enough Tech talent even when they are missing 3 Off starters.

I don't get the "if we don't get the kick run back it wouldn't have been close" thinking. Worst case scenario: if we don't get the kick runback we lose 25-17. But up 22-17, Richt would probably have have run out the clock - winning 22-17. Not exactly a blow out! We would have very much been in that game!
And we DID have them in 4th and 10. They would NOT have gone for it on 4th down if they were up 22-17. Then we would have had one last try at least.
And Miami would have been sweating it late.
Was it really a gift - the TD runback? We have had many, many flukes like that. Remember our player stepping back in the end zone a few years ago? That was a freak play.
Miami cold have tackled Simmons as well. We had the ball at any rate and would have been in good field position to possibly score.
I think Miami had their share of fluke plays - the tipped catch that finished us - but also the wild throw by the QB being chased out of bounds for a first down completion where the WR barely touched his foot in bounds.

Our pass blocking has been good enough for our run and shoot package without a shotgun formation. This game should have been won before it started raining.

Yeah, you can’t single out one play without looking at all of the plays.

Quaide ran hard, but he's not KB. When Miami adjusted to cover the rocket toss we should have been able to gash them with dive/trap/midline, but we couldn't do it. There were several 3-4 yard runs that could have been 7-8 with Benson and that made the game. Super frustrating.

That's twitter is going to leave a mark. you have to be kidding on the coaching. Admittedly on bubble screens adjustment s could have been better but otherwise we had several spots where players were in good spots and it just didn't happen. Braun slip, Stewart, 4th and 10.

I was unhappy we didn't put Howard in. I thought he must be injured. Nope. Maybe Quaide is a more reliable ball handler, but you've got to take a chance with the faster guy when things aren't working. Second biggest coaching mistake after the bubble screen fiasco, in my opinion.

The field conditions took out the toss and option pitch, just like the BC game in Ireland. Benson would have been better than QW, but I don't think he would have gashed anyone. I don't know how Howard's power running game looks against solid D.

Could of, should of kind of loss.

Field conditions is a lame excuse. They make cleats for wet conditions and if we don’t have those maybe we should get them.

Maybe he didn’t trust Howard to hold onto the ball in the rain?

I don’t know. I’m trying to be positive and think that CPJ has a good reason for not playing him in that situation.

It's not like we lost to Syracuse. Or Arizona State.
F*** yes, this. Jeeeezus some guys think we are Bama and should beat everybody on the schedule. So far, we've lost to two teams we thought we'd have a good chance to lose to before the season started, and we led both teams until the final seconds.

The field absolutely slowed the outside run. Hell, we had one run pass option play fall apart because the guard pulled and fell on his ass.

Now, having a shotgun formation would help, but so would having a taller QB.

Did Devine play in the last series or two? I didn't see him in the huddle.
