Works pretty well, don't it?that's the only pass play we have - the Bomb Post.
Works pretty well, don't it?
That's b/c the pass blocking was actually solid, and it looked like vpisu respected Marshall's ability to get out of the pocket and hurt them.It is often open. Usually doesn't work too well though.
If we can hit wide open receivers on long routes we become a lot more dangerous.

Both TD passes were about as beautiful of a pass as any QB could ever throw. Dead on the money to a WR on a full out sprint. As close as VT's defenders were to the line all day, those throws were there. It is often open. Usually doesn't work too well though.

it's low-percentage and gimmicky but hey, the blind squirrel found the acorn against VPI!

I know he was running for his life, but on the interception play, Jeune was wide ass open in the middle of the field. Of course, I wasn't getting chased by a 320 pound DL so it was easy for me to see.
Folks I think we know who was mad that VT didn’t win yesterday.
öööö off. 2 completed passes - both bombs - is a gimmicky pass offense. A nice victory anchored by the defense.
two out of three ain't that bad. dilly dillyit's low-percentage and gimmicky but hey, the blind squirrel found the acorn against VPI!
Jeune did comment post game that the first missed pass of the game was his fault because he slowed up on the route so he made sure to sprint full out on the 80 yarder. He commented that he ran the route so fast that he almost tripped and fell running it.Agreed. Both of those passes were picture perfect. If he can do that going forward, we have a shot at winning out. But previously in this season he's missed on several throws like that. Here's hoping he turned a corner this weekend.
That is what they were giving us. Were you at the game? Did you see VT's defensive alignment? Did you notice the single coverage with no deep safety help? Those passes are what VT was gambling we couldn't make or that they could cover man to man. Everything short was covered. We went to the counter QB keeper because they were putting numbers on the edges. Damn, asshole, learn how to watch a ööööing game. We should have been dropping bombs on them all game until they adjusted safeties back giving us the option game backöööö off. 2 completed passes - both bombs - is a gimmicky pass offense. Complaining for having a good defense is so Tech fan like. I am so lucky to sit around the folks I sit around. They are pretty cool.U mad, bro?
But seriously, I like the sound of a win anchored by the defense. It’s what CPJ has hoped to have since he’s been here.
