Thoughts on Reggie Ball and Coaching Staff

BOR, like I said, I agree on Reggie and on a number of other issues with Gailey. My only point is that I'd hate to see you become like Geetee, someone who throws a bunch of crap at the wall to see what sticks. You normally zero in on what you think the problem is which makes your stuff worth reading, whether anyone agrees or not.

Thanks NC. You and Tampa do have some legit criticisms. There's no doubt that I am very put out (As the rest of us) with the last two games. It just disgusts me thinking about it. I want to support Gailey and want him to succeed, and each year we get to the point where he can take the next step, and he fails to do so. In fact he takes a step backwards. This entire holiday season my friends and family want to discuss GT football with me because they know I love it, and all I can say is "I don't want to talk about it".

Happy Holidays to you too, BOR! :)

In truth, I agree with you concerning Reggie not being pulled in any of the last three games. However, the difference is that I would never, ever, call our coach "irresponsible" in so doing. I might disagree with some of his decisions, and in fact I do, but I would not stand in judgement of him.

This is because I realize that Coach Gailey has more experience in coaching that I do in my chosen profession, I realize that hindsight is always 20-20 and I can't predict the future of calls-not-made, and I try and be fair and non-judgemental in my written thoughts.

Just don't ask my TV or my family for a list of obscenities I yell during the game, as I suspect we are both very passionate about GT athletics. ;)

Have fun, and here's hoping for a great and victorious game in the Gator Bowl...Mike
