I liked Gailey, and liked his staff for the most part. I liked Dodd, Rodgers, Ross and O'Leary more. I liked Carson, Fulcher, Curry and Lewis less. I like CPJ more in most years, less last year.

However, when we went to the All American Bowl, it seemed like a miracle that we got there, at least to me. It was very exciting going to Birmingham, of all places. Young folks will never understand how far down our program had sunk. Curry helped a bit. Ross brought us back. We mistakenly hired Lewis based on a good year at East Carolina. Should have offered GOL or Fridge back then, instead of Lewis. UGAg was struggling in the 90's and we answered by struggling harder. We should have been able to put our foot on their throats.

Agreed on UGAg. This generation of mutt fans have no idea what 4-7 and 5-6 feels like. Last time they hired one of their own, they struck out on Ray Goff. Hopefully Kirby is Goff 2.0.
