Didn't BC have nearly 600 yds of offense against our putrid defense? I think that is how we lost to BC. If we allow Syracuse to run the ball at will against us we will not be going to a bowl again this season either.

Their MO is running the ball because their starting QB is banged up and physically CAN'T throw the ball. He threw a ball last week that looked like it took maximum effort from him, it didn't travel 15 yards in the air, and his receiver had to come back and dive to catch it. They played a converted TE at QB mostly last week and ran heavy read option with him is why they had a ton of rushing yards. They haven't been a "run first" offense with some prolific rushing attack this season.

Villari was originally recruited by Michigan as a QB. He's a QB converted to TE converted back to QB. He didn't throw much against Pitt, but he might be more of a passing threat than converted TE suggests.
