will have a lot of people, donors, to answer to for this conundrum. I can’t imagine him not having some fault in GT falling to the bottom of the ACC pecking order when it comes to bowl selection. I can see falling maybe two or three positions, but ALL the way down to the tenth selection.

It just so happens that two of his biggest decisions are coming within a week or two of each other and he has totally bombed on the first one. The GT players, coaches, and fans deserve better than what he delivered earlier today. I don’t know that turning down the invite is the right thing to do, but I also don’t think it would be a bad idea.

Let’s hope he gets the next decision is the right one or there could be some major fallout.

I hadn’t thought about that, but you are absolutely correct. He’s got half of the goal. He may not get much more if the next decision is perceived as the wrong decision.

It is a decision that will definately define his time as the AD on The Flats.

I’m being open minded about the coaching decision. I see a lot of excellent characteristics in most of the names being thrown around. Doesn’t matter who is hired, some will be pissed once the selection is made.
 
Wasnt a fan of his day 1. Seemed a typical hire of a person we woulda never looked at if he didn’t go here. He started doing some ok things. I wanted to give him a chance despite not being well spoken, almost dumb sounding, but he was pushing for investment.

Then the bowl thing today.

And rumors on the coach.

Like u i can pass on the bowl. But if he screws up the coach he can forget it.

Problem is peterson is as big a loser. Pees in pods

Bud is the bigger problem. He’s a social justice warrior using the position as school president to fundamentally change the fabric of GT.

IMO, everything starts at the top and he is at the top of the GT food chain. He has no interest in GT athletics, only pushing the GT brand as an academic giant. I can understand the latter, but a president must support athletics as well since they can be a cash cow at most universities.
