We have always been at the bottom of the acc pecking order. Hell, pitt fell only as far as they did because of the gt rule. We lost the acccg and fell to the sun. that is why the rule was put into place.

Here are the bottom 4 in swofford’s acc pecking order.

14. BC
13. GT
13. Pitt
12. Wake

The only exception is the Belk will replace Wake with UL. If the Big10 ever called, we’d be idiots to say no. The acc has never, and will never, value us. They only pay Miami and FSU lip service because of $$. FSU will be completely screwed if Taggart continues to Taggart them. The acc office at least respects us academically. UL will get bounced as soon as their bb and fb checks start to bounce.

The Big10 did call, and Tech said no. I doubt I can find the article, but it was a direct quote from 2-3 years ago saying they offered Tech and Virginia before Rutgers and Maryland.

I'll donate. The only thing that's going to get the Hill's attention is if the donations to the school, not the GTAA, get impacted. If there's a way to put pressure on the Hill, let's find it and do it. No matter who the next coach is, things won't get any better, and will likely get worse if there is no relief from the Hill.

Right, nobody will care much about which bowl we got in a 7-5 season in 5 years. We will care a lot who gets hired in the next couple weeks, though. Orders of magnitude more important
 
What is the basis of the "Peterson hates football" meme? I haven't seen any evidence of that
