Anyone hear this? My friend in Seneca, SC said it's all over the radio today that he has been fired. I know there's been a lot of speculation, but he said it sounds definite. I want him to stay for one more week!
 
Nothing on ESPN or CBSSportline. Only found a couple of articles from SC newspapers 'calling' for him to be fired.
 
Chuck Oliver just called in to the Brandon and Wolvie show to report that TB is fired. Afternoon presser to make it official.
 
Chuck Oliver on 790 just said a CU press conf. is coming up in an hour. Still uncertain if he will be fired.
 
I don't know if the players will rally around Swinney, but I don't know that there will be a LOT more Clem fans there than there would've been. A lot of them weren't going to another game until he got fired. If nothing else, it will be louder in DV. PJ will have our boys ready for it
 
Friend in Sburg got a call that it was on the 12:00 news opening comment, Tommy gone.
 
At the very least, this is going to mess up their first practice for our game. It also puts them down a coach (assuming Bowden isn't going to hand around).

Edit: Firing anounced on ESPN just a second ago.
 
Let's just hope they don't decide to "WIN one for the coach."

Not to mention the fact that the fans were saying they weren't even going to show up but you can bet they will be there now.

Let's just hope this Dabo Swinney guy is terrible as an HC.
 
Does the phrase "nothing to lose" come into play this weekend.

I know I have no idea what to expect this Saturday, but it should be an interesting game.

Which makes me nervous living in SC.
 
I hope the assistants spend this week dusting off their resumes instead of concentrating on our game.
