Transfer portal…

GT has never played the game the way it is and that is why we are in the position of being a has been and on the outside looking in. GT is to blame, not the money system, not NIL, not the portal, not anything. While the big boys played the game as it is we let season after season and recruit after recruit pass by and here we are. We are now the team who has gone the longest in our area without a Natty. UGA, check, Florida, check, Auburn, check, Bama, check, Clemson, check, Tennessee, check. While all these schools were buying recruits and winning we have let 3 decades go by whining about what others were doing and not doing it ourselves. And now we will be left begging for a home within the next decade.

öööö you are right, I totally forgot those natties that USCe, Kentucky, Vandy, UNC, NC State, Duke, Wake Forest, Ole Miss, and Miss State won since 1990. Or ever.

My bad. I thought we were trying to be in the tier of actual good programs. But I take your point. We are now lumped in with the likes of Duke, Wake, Vandy, Kentucky, etc. GT has done a great job over the years of building down our program.
 
Wow. So only two of the guys leaving have been picked up, and 13 are still in the portal?

3 of 15. The last few guys (Griffin, Lockhart, Walker, Dominick) that entered will definitely get picked up; and guys like Yates have offers but are waiting until after spring. A few guys probably won’t play FB again.

And none of them will have a GT degree or play any meaningful time in the nfl.
