Does that actually happen in college? I could believe that in HS but I didn't realize that people switched between the OL and DL in college -- I thought the positions were pretty heavy on position-specific skills.

I remember one of the best DL/DE, and probably best player, on Colquitt County's football team 15-ish years ago changed over and played LT for FSU and starred. Can't remember his name. It was the year Colquitt played Lassiter at Lassiter when Aaron Murray (I think that was him) was Lassiter's QB. He was terrorized by that DE.

Interesting pickup. Tight end? On ESPN his only career stats are 2 assisted tackles.

Edit: I see him described as a "blocking tight end".

He's a really good athlete. Cal did not use their TEs in the passing game much at all.
