6-6, 280-pound OT Kai Greer was recruited by Miami out of high school in the Class of 2024 but picked Georgia Tech. Now UM is on him again.
My only concern with the Portal so far is, GT is losing players to other big name P4 schools. Obviously 2 were $$$ exits, but losing 4-5 starter level players hurts. Especially along the LOS.

They have so far been mostly lateral moves, it is probably money related or moving closer to home. Backwards. Dec 28th was the deadline to declare for portal. Once in, a player can sign at any time. To join a team for spring, they must be enrolled before the deadline of that school's spring term add/drop date. Like others have said, there are some exceptions to the Dec 28th hard deadline. Players on any team still playing in post season had 5 additional days after their last game to enter, then schools have 48 hours to handle paperwork. So theoretically since we had a game on Dec 27th, players had until Jan 1 to enter the portal, and the school has until Jan 3 to process it. So there could be more names coming out of GT by tomorrow, but last I heard they aren't expecting any more this cycle. Anybody wanting to transfer in has until add/drop day for Spring term.
