Look at Bama under Saban most years pre Hurts/Tua.A QB is LESS important than an OL?
Disagree

Dennis Scott made amends for it eventuallyLee Goza.
Goza also took the opening tip in a game vs UNC the wrong way and scored a basket for UNC.
You may be right about the coaches. I was referring to the combination of president, AD and coaches. Can't agree here. They can't matchup with Ross, Friedgen, and O'Leary of 1990. Damn if we didn't screw the pooch when we didn't let O'Leary/Friedgen replace Ross while Goof was at uga.
This reminds me of PJ Daniels. Walk on RB who lacked the top end speed but made up for it with good vision, one cut ability and some strength. I swear he would get past the DL and LBs and look for a safety to run into. I loved his work ethic, and he seemed like a really nice guy.Maybe he can only run a 4.65 and in drills looked ok. But no one appreciates his game speed. Vision. Ability to cut in the hole. Many great rb only 4.6 guys; and playing at football speed is not the same. Who knows. But glad we can add him
Should have handed PJ the ball at the end of that NC State game in 2005This reminds me of PJ Daniels. Georgia Tech is the favorite to land former Clemson DE AJ Hoffler per my Clemson connections.
Hoffler, a true sophomore, will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Hoffler played in all 14 of Clemson's games this season, finishing with 13 tackles, three quarterback pressures and 1.5 tackles for loss. He logged 245 snaps as a backup, a notable uplift from 2023 where he registered 74 snaps from scrimmage. Hoffler totaled four tackles and two pass-breakups in a reserve role as a true freshman.
