Transforming Bristol Motor Speedway

Do the tickets come with a free set of binoculars?

It is amazing to me that they are having a NASCAR race there two weeks before the game.

Three weeks.

Yeah that's true. But an earlier article I saw on this said that they would complete all the work in 2 weeks. Everything needs to be ready for the production crews to start getting in and installing the overhead flying cameras and working out final bugs and such.

Are they gonna install some temporary seating or are they really just using the stands already there? That really is going to be a ridiculously long way away from the field.

I don't know if they are installing any additional seating. They are putting in a set of huge video screens, one for each direction. That will be useful for football and also for the racing going forward I assume.

Where are they putting the screens? I don't see anywhere they could put them that won't block a large section's view of the field. For racing it would be fine, but football, notsomuch.

The article says they'll be putting in grandstands over the track in the cardinal directions. It either isn't very well visualized in the concept art in the article or it still doesn't get close to the field. I don't know which, but it seems like prime seating isn't going to be much of a 'thing' at this game either way.

Suspended above the middle of the infield.
