They should have gone with a Dallas style screen. From the top of the stands the screen isn't any larger than the field.

They are not adding stands.

The distance to the field is not that much greater than in a typical stadium.

The Colossus video system is underwhelming.

They will start bringing dirt in on Sunday after the race.

The UT & VT fans around here have been gaga about this for two years. There is a countdown clock just west of downtown on the main highway to the speedway.

Bruton Smith is talking about having a bowl and/or MNC playoff game here in the future.

I am getting out of town for that weekend. Promises to be worse than race week.
