True Freshman

Leo Blackburn is out for the season. I don't believe Blackstrain has been injured. Both are freshmen and both should be very good for us. I'm looking forward to seeing Blackburn next year. Both are highly rated receivers.

Blackburn is one of the main things this offense is missing outside of competent OL play. A big target would make a huge difference in the red zone.

I hope they have a few plays per game to get Blackstrain some experience. Even if he isn't targeted for the pass, there can still be some evaluation on route running, recognizing defenses as a WR, what to do when the QB scrambles....

And run blocking. Especially, run blocking. That is a skill that top HS WR typically lack.

Without holding, although ACC refs are gonna call it anyway if Gibbs breaks a run.

The ACC needs Miami to win this week.

Who are the true freshmen that have contributed the most?

Last year that was a much easier question to answer with Sims and Gibbs.

Norris has done well. Is Ivey a freshman? I think so.
