CPJ's buyout in the first year is $750k, $500k starting his second year. Not too much more than what Auburn has to pay Tuberville ($6m) to buy him out of his contract with them.
Auburn looks like a crap job. The ONLY advantage I can see is they are in the SEC, but even that might not be as good an advantage, since the ACC looks like it might be improving dramatically.
And when they treat such a successful coach so badly, because he was FORCED into implementing a spread offense, why would ANY coach want to go there?

The new "in" thing in college football is to have the coach "resign" but still collect the buyout. They can call it whatever they want, but he was fired.
