As a son of an old Auburn grad I'd want TT out too, after all, he might could beat Bama six times straight, but he never could beat Tech! :laugher:
Seriously, college football fans are ridiculous. If a guy loses for several years in a row, fire him. But Auburn and Clemson join the ranks of schools pushing out guys who have won.
Who is out there for Auburn that is a true step up? Pat Sullivan? Larry Blakeny? Skip Holtz? Bobby Petrino? Patrick Nix? Tommy Bowden? Danny Ford?
Phil Fulmer? Bobby Johnson? Paul Johnson?
Our Coach is the best on that list, and I don't think he will leave us after one year to move to East Alabama with Saban in Tuscaloosa.
Soon a school will hire two coaches, with their own coordinators. One set will coach until they lose a game, then be replaced by the other set. At the end of the year if they did not win 10 games combined, they will fire both sets and get two more.
Football is a zero sum game. The overall record of NCAA schools at the end of every season is .500. Every school believing it can win 'em all every year is ridiculous.
