Y’all probably already know this but UCF is way better than USF at this point in time. UCF’s tempo really is ridiculous. It makes FSU look like someone’s grandma. It seems silly that we would be favored over them after one win but heck, ESPN moved us to the top 25 in their power rankings so who knows. I’m just excited that FB is back. Let’s put the ball down and play.

Welcome to the thunderdome. At the risk of derailing the thread from it's current track, here are my thoughts on the football game from a GT perspective.

While all the attention is on the QB performance last week, the strength of our offense this year should still be the run game. Against a less talented D line, I expect for us to focus on pounding the rock more. Hopefully that helps us control the clock a little more and keep the UCF offense off the field. I think we have a big advantage having a game under our belt with all of the weird circumstances from last spring and summer. Hopefully we make big improvements from game 1 to game 2 and UCF is still knocking the rust off. This should also be a good test for our defense. While FSU has talent on offense, last week was their first game with a new coach and offensive system. Hopefully our defense performs just as well against a team that is more comfortable in their system.

My prediction- GT 27, UCF 24
