UCF has some

Confused why everyone is acting like UCF has much better recruits than us. They routinely get classes in the 60-75 range. It's simply better coaching with an established system. That being said, we are moving in the right direction, but a huge talent gap is a lame excuse.

Looking at rankings misses the picture. You have to have guys who are equipped to do what you want to do and you have to have the right numbers at different positions. We have made fast progress, but still lack depth.

That's a cop out. UCF is better coached and has a better system first and foremost. Our secondary is our deepest position and best recruited position (with solid experience). Torched by a better offensive system. There is no talent gap between UCF and us. Sure we missed Tre but Marlon Williams is not the second coming of Calvin Johnson.

I agree there’s no talent gap. There’s and established gimmicky scheme and identity that’s difficult to stop. Also they have a QB that can run that scheme extremely well. If it’s only about physical talent 1v1 then no way we beat FSU.

Thank God we're not in the AAC. Lose to Temple, 24-2, and now UCF, 49-21. USF is a bottom feeder in that league and we won. 13-10

We're not a commuter school or community college, so I don't think we would qualify for the AAC.

The 2019 Yellow Jackets didn't belong in the ACC, either. It's what happens when you change offenses and don't have the personnel for your new style.
