UGA 15 - Tech 1

Wow 15 is a crazy number. We probably haven’t had 15 draft picks since the 08/09 classes

We’ve said that our roster is devoid of talent for years. That was the downfall of CPJ. Plan was for the new guy to upgrade talent. Maybe it will happen… not there yet. Of course his first full recruiting class is only heading into its Sophmore year with the freebie COVID season.

And there you have it folks, a preview of season 4's excuse from the Juice Crew.

With the transfer portal in effect, who gets credit for draft picks? The team the player spent the most time with or the team that had the player for his final year? Guess a better question is who SHOULD get the credit?

Whichever school he had the best film with I suppose. Typically I would think it would be his last school, particularly if he spent more than a year there. You kinda have to figure out who is more responsible for the player's development. I think the last school will almost always get the credit; but your question is 'who should'.

The last school they were with is who gets listed. Credit is a more nebulous and subjective question.

That’s somewhat my point. Going forward the draft will be less reflective of the schools responsible for that player being drafted.

But, we were going to be elite running an NFL offense? Everyone who believed we can compete at the level required for the blue blood recruits still believe it, especially with NIL and free agency?
