I thought that too. If so, that is the dumbest play call in history. You have one of the best kickers in the country, why would you run a flea flicker then and there?
 
Flipped over there after the big win (unlike some other "fans" I waited until my team was done) and was enjoying it. Then there was the subtle reminder of not so good memories. The insurance commercial...

Uh, I would definitely not count UVA as a win. We lost to freaking Kansas and almost lost tonight to Wake.

If we play hard we should win those three and if we play very hard against the other teams we should pull off at least another win to get to 7-5 reg season. Can't see us beating Miami or VT though.

Why do you think 6 wins guarantees us a bowl? I thought the magic number was 7, and occasionally 6-win teams got it.

I get it, we lost to a ****ty Kansas team (and don't make any mistake, they are pathetic) and scraped by Wake.

VT lost to freaking JMU though. So please don't talk about our bad games, and then bring up a team we can't beat who lost to a DII team.

I think the team figured some things out tonight in the 4th. I am excited to see if it holds.

VT did manage to beat NC State though. NC State is the best team GT has played.

I agree with this. But I just don't like it when someone cherry picks our worst loss, and compares it to a future opponents best win. Plus the transitive property has never worked in football.

No, the ACC affiliation with the Humanitarian is over. If we're lucky, we could make Champs or Music City. 6-6 will get us a bowl because UVA, Wake, Duke, BC, and Maryland will probably not be bowl eligible.

Occasionally? When was the last time a 6-6 BCS conference team didn't get selected to some ****ty bowl?
 
My only goal left for the year is to beat the shyt out of ga. Anything outside of that is gravy IMO.

Didn't look, I thought they sucked. The ACC has 8 bowls and before it's all over, at least 4 won't be eligible, so 6-6 locks it. The new bowls aren't very interesting though - Sun, Independence, and whatever the Eaglebank is.

Had CG won a ACC champ game + a UGA game every now and again this comment might be valid.
 
But remember the ga. game is not that important to a lot of fans because winning the acc means much more. WOOOOOHOOOOOO
