I don't think that anyone is happy to "possibly" go to a crappy bowl. But I also remember making the Orange Bowl last year, and the Peach Bowl 2 years ago. CG had what, 2 total bowls east of the Mississippi in 7 years? I can take a crappy bowl every once in a while if we can also get to the OB every few years as well.

Long day here, Got back earlier from Auburn with Son and Wife on recruiting trip. They did a top notch job set up compared to Tech last weekend. Makes you wonder at time what are they thinking (Tech I mean).

John, is that because you are the father of a potential recruit, or is it because the current staff is not doing anything to nurture relationships with former players? I hope that is not the case for many reasons.

I am glad you had a good trip to Auburn. My Dad played basketball for them and Coach Joel Eaves many years ago. Auburn is a pretty special place. If we don't see another Davis at GT, I would be glad to cheer for him at Auburn. Just not UGA.
 
Anybody remember how UGAg won their game with Colorado in 2006? Colorado was up with the ball and under 2:00 minutes left. They ran the ball to near midfield where their RB fumbled. Stafford then hit TE Leonard Pope for a 30 yard TD pass and UGAg had their last second win.

These things have a way of evening out over time.

All that proved was that UGA has been struggling for awhile now, only now they are not able to hide it.

Everyone sober up and post again in the morning... We won. It was ugly for most of the game, but our boys never quit. That is a million times better than the CCG years. Maybe the guys didn't quit then, but if they didn't then the coach sure as hell did...

We don't have an easy game on our schedule if we play like we did in the first 3.5 qtrs. However, if we play like we did in the last half of the 4th we win all but one of our remaining games. Hopefully this win gives the guys the boost that they need to hit a good stride.

The offense finally looked in sync at the end of the game. The defense actually looked pretty good tonight AND sidelined 2 QBs. Overall, a pretty good day for GT.

We don't need style points now, we just need wins. I personally think this was a pretty gutsy win, not b/c of how we played for 3 qtrs, but how our guys grabbed their f-n balls and made plays when it mattered. Now if they can make those plays the rest of the game, we have a good team.
