"The Harvard of the South?" OMG! My best friends little brother graduated high school as the salutatorian. Fairly bright kid. I tried to get it through his head, that Tech was where he needed to go. He ended up at UGAg.

Somewhat unrelated but in the same theme, in that it promotes that sort of thing, they're talking about removing the title of salutatorian in my home school district. They feel it puts too much pressure on students......
Kind of like the idea that you go to the big state school cause going out of state is just too much pressure....
