True, how many did USC almost lose this year? 3, maybe others that I didn't see, but thats what its all about, they WON. We're the width of a gnats ass away from being 9-2, but it didn't happen. So, theres always a next year, thats what makes college football great, I just wish it could be this year around here sometime soon.

Yes, we had another fine season that I am excited about. But I do think we hit our peak with the SEC Championship game and are prime for an upset by WV in the Sugar Bowl. Nevertheless, win or lose in the Sugar Bowl I'll be happy with this season.

Yes, this is still a GT board. But the thread was started by a GT poster who brought up the UGA topic. Regardless, I do agree it is time to move on.

Amen RP. Whereas the program of recent note has been floating above .500 for quite a few years now (and I am confident that the days of backsliding down to 3-8, 4-7 should be over for GT), I am ready for that break-out year. A couple of plays away from being at 9-2 are just that ...leaving you sitting at 7-4 just a couple of plays away.

Here's a stgerotype for you, creepo: I hooked up my Georgia fan beighbor with some Sugar Bowl tickets at face value from an overly optimistic Bama fan I knew. But then again, he's a real nice fellow who doesn't spend his time making drive-by postings on other teams' boards.
