UNC game time is Noon

i don't have as much qualms about the noon game. To me there are only two meaningful times for games. Late night games (7 or 8 pm) and other time games. If we get an "other time" game then so bit.
But throwing us onto raycom, in my opinion, is just **** kicking us in the name of minor viewer increases. If the fsu/south fl. Game gets better ratings on the same channel is solely because there are more fsu fans, and it fsu loses this weekend i start to think that won't matter anymore.
Unfortunately we won't be able to prove this because the world won't turn to raycom no matter what game is on, they'll stick to espn/abc/cbs.

Did any games that were not thurs night/georgia get onto one of those 3 channels?

vt, bc

Of course, I am in Tennessee. Instead I am gonna have to watch the Vulvas.

If you have an always-on computer in a valid state that you can access remotely, I'd recommend trying to set up a proxy server (Squid Proxy) on it and then while away you can access that Raycom site via it which will trick it into thinking your requests are coming from an allowed state.

Very good point. I know a linux computer that I used to run codes on that I will be able to do that with.

The way to take care of this issue is to win and win often. This is a slap to our face and we should take it out on Miami, who was chosen for the later game.

Does this have anything to do with it being Family Weekend or is this all controlled by the tv "gurus"? (And by "gurus" I mean dumbasses)

From this lineup, it looks like they already decided scUM would win this Thursday night. Arrogant bastards.

CPJ prefers noon games. He says he'd play them at 9am if they'd let him.
It'll be a 9am game from my perspective. Means I'll be following the game while drinking coffee, eating cereal, and lounging in PJs.

So is the Big 10 getting the noon game on ESPN? I'll be pissed if some matchup like Wisconsin-Michigan St. superceded us.

This actually could not have worked out better for me. As I've mentioned before my wife is an ASU grad so I promised her I would take her to the UGA/ASU game this year. Then the schedules come out and I have the conflict with the GT/UNC game.

GT/UNC @ noon
UGA/ASU @ 7 pm

...this is about the best scenario I could hope for --although it would be better if the games were reversed.

Better even is that we're going to UGA/ASU with a good friend of mine and his wife --they have 4 season tix.

GT65: Likes the fact that he is keeping his promise to his wife and is not actually having to pay to do it.

Well played sir, well played.

I think there is a good chance it will be on ESPN360. I was able to watch all of the Raycom games on 360 last year.

Here are the prime-timers chosen over GT-UNC:

Florida at Kentucky 6:00 p.m. ESPN2 (HD)
Iowa at Penn State 8:00 p.m. ABC (HD)
Notre Dame at Purdue 8:00 p.m. ESPN (HD)

Seriously?

Notre Lame?

I can understand Florida, because they've been DYING to have an excuse to put their poster child on some kind of primetime, but Charlston Southern and Troy make for hard excuses to do that. But an "SEC game" is a good excuse. I can even understand Penn State.

But Notre Lame? I wish they would let the little pickle die, and realize that they couldn't pull two rabbits out of their hats in predicting the next messiah. They got Lebron right, but they swung and missed on Claussen.
