Said in another thread - honeycomb has a place at Tech. But it needs to be subtle. Unis were terrible. Helmets weren’t as bad but weren’t good. Needs to be used in a similar way to the Yellow Jacket pattern on the numbers of our current jerseys. Don’t notice it from the TV/stands buts it’s a cool background touch when you get up close.

It was never a honeycomb helmet. It was a chicken wire helmet, and I couldn't be happier knowing I'll never see them again. They were equally as awful as the bubble wrap in the numbers.

The Adidas jerseys, on the other hand, are pure ecstasy.

The chicken wire (the helmets and/or the uniform abomination) were horrid. It looked like it was drawn up in MS Paint by Russell’s lowest level designers over a long weekend coke binge.

I can’t believe Tech ever sullied it’s image by allowing that to see the light of day.

I'm not sure whether Dan Radakovich #%&@ed us over more by telling CPJ about the NCAA investigation and getting us sanctioned before leaving for Clemson, or by renewing the Russell deal for 5 years just before leaving for Clemson. It's almost like he knew he would be leaving for Clemson.
