"Up with the white and gold,
Down with the red and black,
Georgia Tech is out for the victory..."

Seems we once knew what our colors were. However, just about every team has a contrasting third color and ours is navy blue (black has also been at times, notably in the 60's and 80's). For the longest time it has been white and gold with navy trim.

All that doesn't mean we cannot change it up some, though. I prefer G/W/G, but personally also like the navy jerseys with the gold helmets and white pants.

Pretty much nothing tops our white/gold Russell unis from 1998-2000. Even with that, every uniform we had from 2001-2007 tops everything we've had since. But at least Adidas got closer with last year's changes. Blue pants have to go.

Agreed. Key never sniffed a blue uni while he was here. In fact, the only deviation from G/W/G in his playing career was three games where we wore G/G/W. '98 vs BC, then '00 vs Wake and Miami.

It looks great and it definitely looks promising. However this is Georgia Tech and this is likely the moment they decide to scrap gold helmets for blue helmets with buzz. It's a trap

I hope our days of having to watch bad/dumb decisions are over. Everyone from the top down seems self aware enough to not make dumb decisions going forward

Color of the pants depends so much on the light and white balancing when photographed. Sadly this is unavoidable. Absolutely love the gold numbering. It is distinct and readable and keeps us away from relying on blue too much for contrast. The metallic makes it much more consistent appearing on camera across various conditions. It would look ridiculous though to make the pants metallic.
 
These are last year's unis. Either we aren't getting any new or they haven't arrived yet. Nearly every other Adidas school has revealed a new uniform on Adidas' new template. Not all have a new design, and I doubt GT will either, but I at least expected to get new ones on the new template/material. There's still time before season starts but I'm not holding my breath.
