UVA reject named starter at UGA

We have actually done really well at bottling up UGAs run game under Roof. I don't see a reason to think this year will be different.

I think he is better than Mason. Of course, that aint really saying much. They are gonna try to run against us this season.

Hutson Mason in 2014: 4 passing TDs for every INT and 166 yards/game

Greyson Lambert in 2104: -.1 TDs for every INT and 181 yards/game

He will be expected to pass less, but he cannot handle the pressure like Hutson Mason (and that is saying something)

We trounce the dogs at home and break the streak

UGA talent is 10x UVA talent.

I heard David Greene explain on the radio the difference between college and the NFL and why he had a hard time adjusting to the NFL and making a team. He said that at UGA, he had better players than most all of the other teams they played. He could throw the ball and his physically superior WR or TE would go get it and out physical the defender. He said in the NFL, all the corners and safeties are good and they are ballhawks. Throw it up and it is a pick.

Lambert will have enough talent around him to make him look like a good QB.

UVA has some really good players. They just have horrible coaching. Coach Mike London is a pretty good recruiter, IIRC. Got a few 5 stars I believe.

If I had to guess, I would say what you see in UGA recruiting vs. UVA from 2011 to present is that UGA probably averages a marginal but negligible difference in star rankings over UVA. Georgia typically lands top-15 and UVA typically lands top-30 and there isn't a huge drop off between the two.

2011- UGA 5, UVA 25
2012- UGA 12, UVA 27
2013- UGA 12, UVA 28
2014- UGA 7, UVA 41

that seems like a pretty big gap to me, and the on-field results certainly bare that out

I seem to remember us doing a good job bottling him up in 2013 until our rather thin defense wore down in the 4th quarter and OT.

This is true. I think he had <100 yards and 1 TD in regulation. He had a nice screen play though as well.

I sense less dwag hype this year. Either they are laying low on the pre-season #1 hype they usually get or everyone at the cesspool knows something ain't right.

Are you talking about the same Harris who could only put up 7 points on Auburns terrible defense? Are you saying he is better than a QB who graduated in three years at the university of Virgina while playing division one football? This same guy beat Louisville last year with no good players at the skill position, and had a great shot to beat UCLA and BYU with no skill players.

I mean, what is your IQ dude?

a QB who graduated in three years at the university of Virgina while playing division one football?

a QB who graduated in three years at the university of Virgina

a QB who graduated in three years

I love that they are pumped about this guy's academics.

Quincy Carter could probably walk onto their team right now and immediately be named starter.
