Uzzi is a very good player and student; just what we need more of. I know this current class still needs a lot of work, but looking down the road 2009 should be our year. The mutts won't be able to sign many due to their scholarship limitations and that class for them is rapidly already filling up. They won't be able to get so many of the top kids in '09 and there should be a bounty of players still on the table. I hope we can wrap up this current class and quickly begin focusing on the juniors. That class could be the one that turns this program around.
The coming recruiting years will be different for us. We will not be competing for the same types of players as UGA. Let them have all of the drop-back passers of GA -we no longer want them. Our line won't be the same type of players either. The only real competing players we'll have are on defense and some of the running backs.
And OF, you may get your wish sooner than later. With the talent PJ is bringing in and the unfamiliararity (is that a word?) of hiw wtf O, we may win more games than most of us have predicted - including to the #1 or #2 mutts.
