Does Miami play Clemson this year? If so the Tigers DL might be able to pressure Jacory.

GT and UM play the same three Atlantic teams- FSU, CU ans WF.

VT, on the other hand, gets BC, NCSt and MD.

+1. It will be interesting to see what adjustments the coaches will make, either with the scheme or personnel, to try to improve this.

Well, of course we want to be good ourselves --but it never hurts to get some help along the way.

Perhaps, then Miami can lose to VT next week and then to Clemson in October, since both have the defenses that might be able to put pressure on Jacory (UNC's would be less likely to IMO). If we were to win out we'd have the tie breaker over everyone else in our division, BUT I don't see that happening UNLESS our offense gets a lot better quickly, ie folks learn to block and Josh improves with his option reads and his passing (the latter improved a little from Clemson to Miami). EVEN THEN, with our lack of defense, we might be hard pressed to outscore F$U in Tallahassee.

Don't rule out three-way tie scenarios; we don't necessarily have to have more conference wins than Miami to go to the ACCCG. (Of course, I am sad to agree that a 7-1 conference record is not likely for us..)
