So … can this team build on the successes it had this year and eliminate the games like UVA? I look at the ACC schedule of UL, BC, Syra, UNC, Miami, Clem, WF, & UVA and I could see 5–3 if we continue to improve. We got to keep Pyron healthy which may be hard because he likes to stick his head in there too much. I think our defense can be ok … are there any more Charlie Thomas’s out there? On the non conference side we have SC St, Bowling Green, Ole Miss, and UGA. Hopefully we can count two sure wins and that leaves Ole Miss and UGA. I’m going on record right now … next year’s UGA game is is winnable. If we are having a somewhat successful year CBK will have our boys playing like their hair is on fire against UGA. With all that said I think we can be a 7-5 team. I can also see 6-6 and if things really jell 8-4.
 
No teams on our schedule that we can't beat. No, not even one.

I am more predicting 5-7 or 6-6. We have a lot of holes to fill. I doubt we will get an influx of kids from the portal. I think we will see .500 football.
 
My two biggest concerns are replacing our LB’s and having a good WR corp plus a TE. If we get some good athletes in those spots we’ll be on our way. Of course you can’t have enough DL’s.

We are in the ACC we should always win at least 6 games a year a decent year would be 8 or 9 wins and an avg year would be 7. 6 should be a disappointment. Let's hope Key can get us back to 7 wins a season. Go Jackets!
 
The bar most of y’all have set is higher than mine. But still quite low for a “new” and “exciting” hire.
