We will never compete with this

I always get a little scared eating at cracker barrel because I always think someone’s gonna figure out I wasn’t born here and they’re gonna start harassing me with “where you from boy? we don’t take kindly to folks like you ‘round ‘ere.” and then I’m gonna get shot and die over a plate of blueberry pancakes. In 20 years I have yet to eat there once without sitting on the edge of my seat.
I think about 50% of the people in Cracker Barrell are yankees stopping to get some “southern” food on their way to or from Florida, you”ve got nothing to worry about.

The other 50% are southerners whose grandmother or maybe mother used to cook food like that. Now that they are gone a weekly trip to Cracker Barrel is a nostalgia trip of their long lost youth.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that 100% are people who just enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel.

The only true endorsements I’ve ever seen is Jeff Sims for Mercedes Benz and Stetson Bennet shocking patrons by serving chicken at a Raising Canes chicken joint.
One of the pup tight ends has radio ads with Georgia's own credit union, and I'm sure that other players have real "local" ads, just doesn't seem like companies are getting value because for the most part they aren't involved, these collectives are.

ya'll old farts need to get with the times. Once you start offering players NIL deals....you can't go back. College sports will continue to evolve as it always has. First televising games was going to kill the sport. Then the playoff would ruin the bowls. After that, conference expansion would ruin college sports. Then the transfer portal would result in chaos. Now NIL will kill the sport. It won't.

New TV deals are going to bring streaming money into play and the rich will get richer and the poor will be tugged along.

Two things people hate the most
1) change
2) the way things are
Funny but its as though you have laid out the road map leading to the eventual death of college football as we know it. Is college football getting better or worse?

Isn't "Georgia's Own" credit union the one that has the LED "Go Dawgs" sign on the top of their building and the CEO is a mutt? Nice he has NIL company money to play with. Another reason not to bank there.

thought this was a hot chicks thread. Whatever.

A lot of those things actually have made the sport worse in the eyes of many fans though, even if they haven't killed it.
