I talk to UGA fans all the time and they really dont put much thought into the game until game week, then we're just a formality before they play more important games. That is reality.

We beat them in 2016... That wasn't pre-CFP. We all know we have had 3 crap years in a row. Why do so many on here feel the need to exaggerate and embellish how bad everything is? It's almost like people want to make things just as bad as they could possibly be so they can feel justified for complaining. "Ho hum, I caught Chlamydia. I might as well cut my dick off."

You are in denial if you think six years ago is the same era as today. Hell even two years ago is vastly different in CFB than today. 2016 was Kirby Smart's first year and we knew they were one good coach away from being untouchable once he got his system going. UGA had 19 five stars on its roster last year. That is as many five stars as they've ever had and it's only getting worse in the NIL era. Anyway, maybe I'm wrong and we have a fighting chance but even the triple option was no longer an equalizer to them once they got their coach. It's not defeatist to say the gap is too much to overcome and some (most?) people on this board have a hard time with reality some times. UGA is now Bama's equal whether you accept it or not. Would you feel like we had a fighting chance against Bama too or even Ohio State?

Regardless, we will strap it up and play the game and I will cheer them on and not even be mad about what will likely happen. Hell, UGA embarrasses most other SEC teams too, not just us, so don't get pointlessly mad about it.
