Looks like we've got a chance to knock off two top 10 teams in a row. That sort of chance doesn't come around terribly often, we need to make good on it and give the turkeys the beating they deserve.

OU is so clearly going to the title game it's not even funny.
 
Man, how in the world did VT jump Clemson? (And for that matter, how did we jump Texas?) Stupid polls.
 
Should be the best Thursday night game of the year. If we show up like we did against Clemppy, we win by 10+.

VPI was ahead of Clempsen in this poll last week (VPI=11, Clempsen=12). Further, we were 23 and Texas 25 in this poll last week. The "Last week's poll" column is instructive.

Hopefully we're as pumped for Thursday as we were for last Saturday. If that same team shows up (heck, even if just our defense shows up), we win handily.

Texas hasn't beaten any ranked teams. Dont know about VT clemson though. Doesn't make sense.
 
All of us who are talking about who jumped who are thinking about the BCS rankings that ESPN is using. Our bad.
 
Yep, 19 and 9 respectively for coaches

and 20 and 10 in the AP poll....either way, we have the OPPORTUNITY to beat a top 10 ranked team...

Their epic win in Durham in which Duke missed 3 FGs is a testament to how they induce fear into the opposition.

Soring 3 points against Clemson shows what a class act their coaching staff is in their aversion to running up the score.

And with wins at East Carolina, Marshall, and Winston-Salem, the hokies have illustrated they have showed they are more comfortable on the road than Rick Steves.

I've read that espn has already completed filming for their latest 30-for-30 series entitled "The Gauntlet" which illustrates the hokeis' ability to endure the rigors of hosting App State, Ark State, and Boston College in the same season!

One of the funniest things I heard was during FSU's win over BC. The ESPN guys were trying to figure out why they all were fooled into thinking FSU was "back" this year.

The consensus was basically, nah, we were right but just a year early. Next year they'll be "back".

Look for another preseason top 10 for the noles.
