What a huge letdown of a game

It's a little unfair to blame Gibson, give him a chance to grow at the D1 level....with an OL that works a little better. Play after play came back against him....By the way, my God the refs absolutely sucked against Tech in the first half. When you suck as a team for so long, the refs give you nothing.
No it is not. He is in his fourth year of college football and his 10th month with this team. He left Akron because he couldn’t hold down the job. That has been made clear as to why

They should have brought in the exClemson QB who is big and can run. Anything but "just don't make an effort". We also should give our OL a chance to simply hit somebody in the mouth instead of all the misdirection, zone, slow moving plays that get nothing. Or how about a simple rocket sweep or toss sweep without linemen.

The team's inability to play error free ball coming out of the break is all on Key. I like Key but he has nothing to offer on our sideline. Look at the UVA coach, coaching, pumping guys up, firing them up.
I don't have much to argue with there, but I don't think that game was a good advertisement for the uva coach either.

Wait, nobody feels the backup QB ran out of bounds so he could easily find the opposing team for hugs? Or to save his offense from running another play?

You go back and watch that Gardner-Webb game under Paul Johnson and apologize.

I was there and you have a point. Booker did make one play - he was under a lot of duress but got a screen pass off to Dwyer that won the game. But I will apologize as there is some rationale for your assessment. Both that performance and this one will go down in history as things you would like to forget but can't.
